Information We Collect

Information you provide directly — when you fill out a contact, quote, or partnership form (such as your name, business name, phone number, email, service interest, address, and project details). We use this to respond to your inquiry.
Phone inquiries — when you call us, we may collect your phone number, name, project details, call notes, and call records needed to respond and follow up.
Analytics data — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website (pages visited, general location, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising attribution data — when you arrive from an ad or campaign link, we may collect the landing page, current page, referrer, UTM parameters, and click identifiers such as GCLID, GBRAID, WBRAID, or MSCLKID. We use this to understand which ads, pages, phone clicks, email clicks, and quote requests led to customer inquiries.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure website visits, ad clicks, quote requests, phone clicks, and email clicks. These tools help us understand whether our advertising is working. We also store your language preference and limited first-touch attribution details in your browser's local storage. We are not using remarketing or personalized advertising audiences at launch unless this policy is updated to say otherwise.

How We Use Your Information

To respond to quote requests, partnership inquiries, phone questions, and callback requests
To recognize prior inquiries so returning callers do not need to repeat the same information
To improve the website based on aggregated usage data
To measure advertising performance and connect ad clicks with quote requests, phone clicks, and email clicks

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

Website form submissions and phone quote records may be stored in our website systems for up to 90 days and are also sent to us by email for follow-up. Email copies and phone inquiry records may be retained as business records for as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, provide service, maintain records, and handle follow-up. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policy (26 months by default).

Your Rights (Alberta PIPA)

Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you have the right to request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at contact@nikaterra.ca.

Third-Party Services

This site uses trusted service providers for website hosting, form processing, email delivery, phone call handling, analytics, fonts, and maps. Some providers may process or store information outside Canada. You can contact us if you have questions about how service providers handle information for us.

Google Analytics — anonymous traffic analytics (pages visited, device type, general location). Google Privacy Policy
Google Ads conversion measurement — ad and conversion measurement for quote requests, phone clicks, and email clicks. When you submit a quote or partnership form, we provide the email address and phone number you entered to Google's conversion tag, which hashes and processes them for enhanced conversions so we can measure which ads lead to real inquiries. Google does not use this data to identify you to us beyond matching the conversion.
